Hard luck to our 1st year soccer team today who were narrowly defeated in a 2-1 score line to Hazlewood College in the Collins Cup (round of last 10 in Munster). We were very unfortunate in the last few minutes of the game and missed our chance at an equaliser but the lads played exceptionally well and have improved greatly from their first match physically, technically as well as socially. The bond the lads have formed in just a few months is what will keep them pushing forward in years to come!! Well done to get this far lads. All of us at NNC are so proud of ye.
