Nano Nagle College is proud to continue its journey as Cork City’s first officially recognised Post Primary School of Sanctuary — a school with a truly welcoming heart.
As we begin a new school year, we remain deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and compassionate environment for every member of our school community. Being a School of Sanctuary means that our students and staff actively promote empathy, celebrate diversity, and stand in solidarity with those seeking refuge or a fresh start.
Our work is grounded in the three Sanctuary Principles: Learn, Action, and Share. These guide us in everything we do — from classroom learning to whole-school events — helping us build a community that respects, values, and supports people of all backgrounds and experiences.
