Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming students & teachers from Collège St Exupéry, France to our school. This was their second visit to Nano Nagle College as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
Students began their day making presentations about school life in France & Ireland. Then they took part in various lessons- making scones in Home Ec, keyrings in Engineering, digital art & began a collaborative Art piece that our students will add to and display. They learnt some Gaeilge & finished the day with some Irish dancing.
We also were treated to some great traditional music thanks to the boys & girls from Scoil Iosagáin & Scoil Aiséirí Chriost.
On day 2 we welcomed back Ms Sandra Browne who lead a local history walk. Some of our 5th yr students also joined in.
It was a very enjoyable 2 days with our French visitors & we look forward to continuing our friendship and collaboration.
