Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming students and teachers from Collège St Exupéry, France to our school. This was their second visit to Nano Nagle College as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
Students began their day making presentations about school life in France and Ireland. Then they took part in various lessons- making scones in Home Economics, keyrings in Engineering, digital art and began a collaborative art piece that our students will add to and display. They learnt some Gaeilge and finished the day with some Irish dancing.
We also were treated to some great traditional music thanks to the boys & girls from Scoil Iosagáin and Scoil Aiséirí Chriost.
On day 2 we welcomed back Ms Sandra Browne who lead a local history walk. Some of our 5th Year students also joined in.
It was a very enjoyable two days with our French visitors and we look forward to continuing our friendship and collaboration.
