DEIS

At Nano Nagle College, we are proud to be a DEIS Plus school. DEIS (Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools) is a national initiative by the Department of Education which aims to support educational inclusion and ensure every student can achieve their full potential. 

Our DEIS Plus status recognises the work already taking place in our school community to support students academically, socially and emotionally, while also providing additional supports and opportunities for our students and families. 

As a DEIS Plus school, we focus on:  

• Improving literacy and numeracy outcomes.
• Supporting attendance, participation and student wellbeing. 
• Strengthening links between home,school and the wider community. 
• Promoting inclusion,equality and positive educational experiences for all students.
