What an amazing week we have had. Last night we hosted a hugely successful first open night at Nano Nagle College! Months of dedication and hard work have truly paid off, as the event was a resounding success. The atmosphere was electric, and it was a full house with eager parents and students. We were also delighted to welcome in members of our community in Farranree who wanted to show their support for our vision to provide an inclusive school with the best educational opportunities for our young people.
The open night showcased the incredible work of the staff and students at Nano Nagle College, highlighting its commitment to providing quality education and fostering a vibrant learning environment. Visitors were invited to explore the facilities, engage with the staff and students and to learn about the diverse educational programmes and extracurricular activities offered at the school. It was an opportunity to foster a sense of belonging and pride in what Nano Nagle College represents.
The week was made even more special as this morning we had the honour of welcoming the first Lord Mayor to Nano Nagle College, Cllr. Kieran McCarthy. It was a wonderful occasion as the Lord Mayor spoke to the students and staff about writing their own story, being the best they can be and staying connected to their community. We always love to be reminded of the positive impact our foundress Nano Nagle had on the world.
It is just the beginning of an exciting journey at Nano Nagle College. Thank you to everyone who made this memorable week possible, and here’s to a bright future for Nano Nagle College!
