Dear Parents and Guardians,
The ASTI, TUI and FÓRSA have informed the board of management that their members have been directed to take strike action on Wednesday, 14 October. Pickets will be placed on all schools, colleges and education centres where ASTI, TUI and FÓRSA members are employed on that day.
In the case of the strike going ahead on 14 October and any subsequent date, the board of management will not be in a position to discharge its responsibilities with regard to the care of students in its charge. In view of this, the school will not be open to receive students on 14 October. Please ensure that you do not send your child to school on 14 October.
The board has no wish to interrupt the education of students in this school and regrets that this course of action is necessary.
